It is that time of year when we feel more inclined to take better care of ourselves. So we eat more fruit for snacks instead of cookies and candies. We try for more salads than sandwiches at lunch and maybe go for fish instead of steak for dinner.
So, I would like to offer a great dressing for quite a few fun salads. Yes, once you have the dressing, the salad is a go too item. One you would never have thought, you would want first.
For this post I am offering a spinach, pear and pecan. You can also always add a bit of bacon/facon if you like. Another great option is spinach, strawberry, cashew salad.
This is one of my 2-3 ingredient dressing recipes that you can make in a minute and use all week.
Vegenaise dressing 1 cup (original blue cap unless you want soy free, then go green cap), Aunt Patty’s Raw Agave 1/3 cup, Apple Cider Vinegar with Mother 1 tspn and Poppyseeds 1-2 tspn or shake to taste.
Give all ingredients a wisk together and store in an airtight container in the fridge and enjoy with anything you like. This is also a great cole slaw dressing.
