The Granita is a staple Italian breakfast offering and I for one am a big fan. Since I do not live in Italy, I have borrowed the amazingly refreshing drink recipe and adapted it for myself and others who wish to enjoy the most pure of recipes and delicious of drinks.
1 8.5 oz of AROY-D Coconut Milk
1/2 cup Hazelnut Milk*
2.5 fluid oz of pure maple syrup
1/8 tsp ground vanilla
dash of pink salt
1-2 cups ice cubes
Blend all the ingredients together until completely combined. Enjoy!
- 1/2 cup Hazelnuts – 8oz water. Blend until smooth and pour into a pitcher through a nut milk bag. Let sit for 20 min then strain. Milk will last in the fridge for 3 days.
